About this Ride
Where: 1 Old County Road, Matahina Forest, Te Teko 3192.
Directions: Sign posted from Tahuna Road, Te Teko.
Classes: 2 wheelers only, no ATVs. NO Quads, NO Dogs - this is forestry rules.
Terrain: Pine forest trail ride. Main loop approximately 23km with expert sections, novice loop (11km) and mini kids track (100m).
Pricing: $50 per adult; $30 per student (15yrs and over, with ID); $20 per child (6yrs-14yrs); $100 for a family (2 adults and up to 3 children under 15 years); $40 Fire Extinguishers; $10 Fire Extinguisher hire (+$30 bond). CASH or EFTPos.
Fire extinguishers MUST be carried. No dogs, no drugs, no alcohol.
Food carts: Great food and cold drinks with awesome coffee available.
Camping: Private free camping available on Tahuna Rd. Night before ride only. No fires, no dogs, no bikes to be started after dark, no riding in paddocks.
