About this Ride
Where: Burt's Farm, Mimiha Road, Matata.
Directions: Signposted from the Matata Straights SH2, at Mimiha Road about 5 km north of Matata.
Terrain: Main track approx 18–20 km long. Short cut home for people who don't want to do the whole track, about 4 km long. There is a kids track and a family track, only 3–5 km long, designed for children and their parents only.
Mandatory to carry a fire extinguisher at all times on the rides.
Registrations from 8:30 onwards. Gate opens for riding approx 9:00 am when the track has been swept. Tracks close approx 3:00 pm.
Pricing: Senior $50; Youth $25 (10 years old up to and including secondary school); Under 10 $10; Family $100 (includes dad, mum plus up to 3 children under 15). Senior riders are charged an extra $5 to help pay the Paramedics.
No EFTPOS on site; cash only.
Rain check day if heavy rain looks imminent. This will either be the next day Sunday or the following Saturday. Please email or ring if unsure.
