About this Ride
Pre registrations are available from Sunday 22 February 2026 and close 16:00 Friday 27 February 2026. This is the eighth annual Te Anau Basin community fundraiser trail ride. Motorcycle NZ (MNZ) permitted event; MNZ rules apply.
Heaps of riding on offer. Maps available at registration tent.
- Main/Family loop track approx 20km
- Lochie's Family Loop track approx 30km with several intermediate riding options available
- Advanced track: 46km of advanced single track with Gold/Extreme diversions, or only 20km if you take the shortcuts
- Separate Peewee track for the littlies
BBQ lunch available from 11:30.
Safety message:
- SideXSides are not permitted
- ATVs are only permitted on the main/family/junior tracks
- ATVs are not permitted on the intermediate or advanced riding sections
Registration available on the day from 08:00 at the Base tent. Bring cash. First riders let out at approximately 08:30, or when Hato Hone St John are on site. Last riders let out onto trails by 15:00. Trails close and event ends at 17:00 unless organisers close trails/event earlier due to weather, traffic control, rider numbers, or safety concerns. No refunds for early closure of event trails. Safety is paramount; any instructions from event organizers to close trails, stop riding, or return to Base must be obeyed.
Location: Manapouri Station, 690 Blackmount-Redcliff Road. Turn off SH94 at The Key, travel 7km and turn into paddock/venue entrance. Follow directions and signage. Drive to the weather, road and traffic conditions.

- Senior (16+): $55 pre, $65 day
- Junior (15 & under): $30 pre, $40 day
- PeeWee (9 & under): $10 pre, $15 day
- Family 3 / 4 / 5 pax: $90 / $110 / $140 pre, $100 / $120 / $150 day
