About this Ride
When: Sunday, 24th May 2026
Where: 134 Puketapu Road off Whangamata Road (Western End), Tihoi, Taupo.
Directions: 30 minutes west of Taupo, 45 minutes south of Tokoroa (via SH32).
Classes: Two wheel motorcycles only.
Terrain: Track is a 25-30km loop within the forestry block. Suitable for most riding levels, with separate harder sections. We have some new ground to explore and all previously used tracks will be freshly groomed. All-weather dirt bike riding country. There will be NO novice track this time around due to farmland being unavailable.
Major Sponsors: Giltrap Agrizone. Special thanks to our generous landowners Armer Farms and Propect Forests.
Car park paddock is the same as March.
$60 adult, $30 15yo and under.
Full-face helmet and sturdy boots compulsory.
There will be food and drinks available to purchase.
Fire extinguishers compulsory for adult riders. (available to purchase at sign-on)
There will be EFT-POS available.
All money raised goes directly into providing the best education and experiences for Marotiri School students.
