Berm Buster Trail Ride Taupo Trail

The event is located off Taharua Rd, SH 5 (Napier/Taupo Rd), about 25 minutes from Taupo. Arrows on SH 5 corner into Taharua then just past the one lane bridge, turn right into the forest (Homestead Road). Suitable for all abilities 2 wheels (NO quads or DOGS) this is a forestry rule. The unique Taupo pumice makes it rideable in all weather, with over 100kms of rolling hills, winding gullys, cranking firebreaks & jumps. Millions of berms and mega traction. All main trails freshly groomed after each event! Optional expert only trails available. Trails include: KTM Trail - 31km, HUSQVARNA Trail - 25km, GASGAS Trail - 15km, MOTOREX Trail - 10km, Kids forest track - 0.6km, Novice kids track - 0.4km, Little Wittle track - 0.1km, MUD Track - 3km. Enter on the day by cash. No Eftpos. Fire extinguishes are compulsory for adult riders and can be bought on the day for $30, with a return system for $20 back. Food, demo bikes, hire bikes, and motorcycle displays available. Accommodation in Taupo with camping in a paddock near the ride.
